Our Current Model is Outdated

The world is changing faster than policy can catch up. Why are we using a system that is hundreds of years old to keep up with a 21st century economy? Well, following the money is one thing. Or we humans are just slow to release power once we have attained it.

But if we want to be more in line with the principles of democracy we need to open up the input mechanisms to the masses. The technology is there, we just need a shift in culture to make it happen.

I think we are ready, and I want to bring that to Whistler.
